How it works

AutoGo requires a fixed set of photo slots per listing — front three-quarter, rear, both sides, interior, dashboard and boot. When you upload, each image is checked against the slot it was placed in and scored for sharpness, lighting, framing and whether the number plate is legible.

Problems are reported before submission, in plain language: "this looks like an interior shot in the rear exterior slot", "too dark to show the paintwork", "plate is not readable". You fix and re-upload instead of waiting days for a rejection.

The same checks flag stock photography and images reused across different listings, which is what keeps vehicles listed by CarHosts honest — a photo has to be of the actual vehicle you are renting out.
