Charging, range, running costs and how booking works when you rent an electric vehicle from a verified CarHost on AutoGo.
AutoGo does not own or operate charging stations. Where a CarHost provides charging details for their vehicle — such as the cable supplied, the connector type and the charging points they normally use — those details appear on the vehicle listing. Confirm charging arrangements with the CarHost before you book so your route is realistic.
That depends on the individual listing. The CarHost states what is included with their vehicle. If the listing does not mention a cable, ask through AutoGo before booking.
Charging time depends on the vehicle model, its battery size and the type of charger used. Home or standard sockets are slower than dedicated fast chargers. The CarHost can tell you what is typical for their specific vehicle.
Charging costs during your trip are handled the same way fuel is on a conventional rental: the terms are set by the CarHost and shown on the listing. Read the listing terms before you confirm your booking.
Driving range varies by model, battery condition, load, terrain and driving style. AutoGo does not publish a general range figure because it would not be accurate for every listing — check the specifications on the vehicle page and ask the CarHost about real-world range on your intended route.
Long-distance travel needs planning around charging availability along your route, and some CarHosts set mileage or travel-area limits. Discuss your route with the CarHost, and check the listing terms, before booking.
Suitability depends entirely on the specific vehicle. Most electric cars listed for city use are not intended for rough terrain. For off-road trips, see our 4x4 safari vehicles instead.
Prices are set by each CarHost and shown on their listing. Every price on AutoGo comes from a real, approved listing — nothing on this page is an estimate. Browse the available electric vehicles to see current daily rates.
Every AutoGo booking must be made at least one hour before your requested pickup time. This gives AutoGo, the CarHost and — for chauffeured trips — the driver time to confirm and prepare the vehicle. The booking form checks this using AutoGo time and will suggest the earliest time you can select.
Where a CarHost offers a chauffeured option for their vehicle, the listing shows it. You can also filter for chauffeured electric vehicles on the electric vehicles page.
Electric listings appear only when a verified CarHost has one approved and available. If nothing is listed for your dates, send an enquiry — the AutoGo team will reply as soon as a matching vehicle is available.
Availability follows the CarHosts who list with AutoGo. The electric vehicles page always shows the live inventory and its locations, so it is the accurate answer at any moment.
No. AutoGo is a mobility marketplace. Every vehicle is listed by a verified CarHost, and AutoGo handles verification, booking and payment.
Send it to the AutoGo team and we will reply with real answers about the listings available to you.
